I am drawn to the seemingly inflexible constraints the photobooth presents: a fixed focal length, aperture, and shutter; the cramped seating area, the mechanical precision and timing of the four shots, and the iconic vertical strip of photos. I enjoy creating photos that play with these constraints and with the expectations of the viewer. I am also interested in the inherent narrative embedded in each strip of images, the four distinct but successive snapshots of time.
